Dr Chintan Patel, an Interventional gastrointestinal endoscopist and gastroenterologist with a specialized interest in advanced techniques in diagnostic endoscopy, ERCP, Endosonography, Eus FNA and FNB, Eus guided interventional procedures, EMR for gastrointestinal polyps and tumours, ESD for early cancers, POEM for achalasia cardia, STER for submucosal tumours, Enteroscopy, Endoscopic bariatric surgery, Capsule endoscopy, Cholangioscopy and have done the FAIGE in Endoscopy Asia and WGI, Mumbai, and M.S in GMC, Surat. Practised as an assistant professor of surgery in the same GMC Surat during the year 2011-2013.
Currently practising at SIDS Hospital and research centre, Surat.

Published more than 30 publications of case reports, case studies, original papers and video case reports in national and international journals.
Best abstract award from Asia Pacific region at Endo2022, Rio de Janeiro-Brazil.
Third best of videos presentation at SGEI mid-term conference 2020, Kolkata.
Co-author of a chapter on "Third space Endoscopy" in surgical gastroenterology by Dr. Sanjeev Haribhakti.
